On October 12, 2019, Dr. Miguel Villarroel Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies participated as a speaker in the official event of the 70th Anniversary of the Red Cross of Saint Lucia. It was chaired by the President of the National Society of Saint Lucia Hubert Pierre. Volunteers and Staff of the Red Cross of Saint Lucia participated, as well as officials of the Federation Secretariat and the ICRC.
