On April 23, 2019, the 140th Anniversary of the National Society of the Peruvian Red Cross was held in the facilities of the Sheraton Hotel in the city of Lima. This important event was chaired by the President of the National Society Miss Josefina García Roca.
In this important event, Dr. Miguel Villarroel honored Ms. Josefina García (National President) with the highest distinction of the Venezuelan Red Cross, the Augusto Pinaud Decoration.
Representatives of more than 10 national societies of the Red Cross Movement participated in this event.
