On May 23, 2019, Dr. Miguel Villarroel, held a meeting with his counterpart Dr. Kerem Kinit (Vice President of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent for Europe) who in turn the President of the Turkish Red Crescent.
The reason for the meeting was to analyze and try to support both the national society of the Venezuelan Red Cross and the population of that country. Dr. Mario Villarroel (President of the Venezuelan Red Cross), participated in the meeting.
