On February 20, 2021, Dr. Miguel Villarroel (Vice president of the Venezuelan Red Cross) participated in the National Steering Committee of the Venezuelan Red Cross, chaired by Dr. Mario Villarroel, President of the Institution.
This National Steering Committee allowed updates regarding COVID 19 to be made by Dr. Bongioanni (director of the project by the Venezuelan Red Cross for humanitarian aid), and Dr. Carlos Ruiz (Director of Health of the National Society).
It consisted of the virtual presence of almost all the sections of the country.
