Reunión Virtual para el análisis de la situación en la Sociedad Nacional Peruana.
El 22 de noviembre de 2024, el Dr. Miguel Villarroel, Vicepresidente de la Federación Internacional de Sociedades de la Cruz Roja y de la Media Luna Roja, mantuvo una reunión virtual con la Presidenta de la Federación, la Sra. Katherine Forbes, y el Subsecretario de Operaciones, el Sr. Xavier Castellanos, para analizar en profundidad la situación actual de la Cruz Roja Peruana.
Actualmente, la Sociedad Nacional se encuentra suspendida de su participación en la Organización Internacional debido a las medidas disciplinarias adoptadas por la Junta de Gobierno de nuestra Federación.

Virtual Meeting to Analyze the Situation at the Peruvian National Society.
On November 22, 2024, Dr. Miguel Villarroel, Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, held a virtual meeting with the Federation’s President, Katherine Forbes, and the Under-Secretary of Operations, Xavier Castellanos. The purpose of the meeting was to analyze the current situation of the Peruvian Red Cross in detail.
It is important to note that the Peruvian Red Cross is currently suspended from membership in the International Organization due to disciplinary measures taken by the Federation’s Governing Board.
