On July 21, 2022, Dr. Miguel Villarroel (Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies), participated in the important delivery of medical supplies by the Venezuelan Red Cross in the ” Venezuela Assistance Plan” under the coordination of Dr. Hernán Bongioanni.
The supplies delivered were 2 groin aspirators, 2 capnographs, 1 defibrillator, 2 multiparameter monitors, 4 braces, 1 ultrasound, and 10 sphygmomanometers.
This event was attended by the Vice-Minister of Health, Dr. Liz Martinez; hospital director J.M. de los Rios, Dr. Mercedes Varela; the director of Health of the Venezuelan Red Cross, Dr. Carlos Ruiz; representatives of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (ICRC).
