Within the framework of the Extraordinary General Assembly of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, held on December 11 in the city of Geneva, Switzerland, I participated in my capacity as Vice President of said Federation and was able share with the candidates for the presidency of our organization Miss Natia Loladze (Georgian Red Cross), Mrs Kate Forbe (American Red Cross), Mr Abbas Gullet (Kenya Red Cross) and Dr Rami Al Nasser (Egyptian Red Crescent) , where Mrs. Forbe was elected as the new president of the Federation to finish the period left vacant after the resignation of Mr. Rocca, the outgoing president.
