On February 12, 2025, Dr. Miguel Villarroel, Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, participated in the first virtual preparatory meeting for the upcoming Inter-American Conference, to be held in Panama City, Panama.
This meeting was attended by the six members of the Governing Board of the Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of the Americas, as well as Mr. Elías Solís, President of the Panamanian Red Cross, representing the host country, and Ms. Dyane Marenco, President of the Inter-American Regional Committee of the Red Cross.
