On January 12, 2021, Dr. Mario Villarroel (President of the Venezuelan Red Cross), Dr. Miguel Villarroel (Vice President of the Venezuelan Red Cross and Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies ) held a virtual meeting with Mr. Michele Di Tomasso (Head of the IFRC Operation in Venezuela), Marissa Soberanis (Head of Projects in Venezuela) and Dr. Hernan Bongioanni, Head of the Humanitarian Aid Project to Venezuela by Venezuelan Red Cross.
At that meeting, it was possible to analyze the strategies carried out by the IFRC in Venezuela, and what are the operational solutions to face COVID-19 in that country.
