On August 17, 2022, Dr. Miguel Villarroel (Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies), participated in the Virtual meeting of the Inter-American Regional Committee of the Red Cross (CORI) invited by the president of the organization, Dr. Jean Pierre Guteau, and with the participation of most of the National Societies of the American continent.
In said meeting, the topic of the Tegucigalpa declaration signed by all the countries of Central America was analyzed, as well as the delicate situation of the Paraguayan Red Cross and the Peruvian Red Cross.
