On February 25, 2021, a working meeting was held between the President of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Dr. Francesco Rocca and the Vice Presidents Dr. Miguel Villarroel (America), Keren Kinit (Europe ), Abdoul Diallo (Africa) Dr. Chen Zhu (Asia) and Mrs Brigitta Gadient (Switzerland) (ex-officio), and special guests were Mrs. Mercedes Babe (President of the Permanent Commission), Kristina Kumpula (President of the Mediation and Compliance Committee) and Kate Forbes (Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee)
At said meeting, the mechanism for holding our next General Assembly to be held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic) was analyzed and a report was received from the different Statutory Commissions of the International Federation.
