On May 16, 2021, a working meeting was held between the President of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, Dr. Francesco Rocca, and the Vice Presidents Dr. Miguel Villarroel (America), Keren Kinit (Europe), Dr. Chen Zhu (Asia) and Mrs Brigitta Gadient (Switzerland) (ex-officio).
At this meeting, the mechanism for the holding of our next General Assembly to be held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, was analyzed and a report was received from Dr. Chen Zhu on the work carried out by the Chinese Red Cross at the international level of support derived from the pandemic.
