Last Tuesday, September 25, 2018, the event entitled “Entrepreneurship in Hospitality and Restoration” was held in the magnificent Noble Hall of the Banco Mediolanum Palace, a palace inaugurated for the first time in 1930.
Miguel Villarroel (founder and president of VBC International), opened the event by welcoming all those present and then making a special recognition to the entire VBC Barcelona team for their perseverance and dedication, giving them a special VBC pin.
Subsequently, Alfredo Paul Rivero (family banker of Banco Mediolanum) received his presence with great joy, and continued to present Juan Andrés Lattuf Mendoza (co-founder and director of Chivuo’s). Then, the representatives of VenBarna and members of the VBC, Ricardo Egea and José Manuel Visencio, proceeded to give a preview of what would be a delicious pairing with their cava, aged rum and handmade chocolates. The tasting specialist and Venezuelan journalist, Vladimir Viloria was responsible for carrying out the tasting.
Finally, President Villarroel closed with a short but very meaningful speech about the importance of there being support among Venezuelans abroad, so that everyone can emerge and overcome the obstacles of emigration.
