On March 11, 2023, Dr. Miguel Villarroel, Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, held a meeting with the president of the Turkish Red Crescent Mr. Kerem Kinit, where it was possible to discuss with detail the current situation of the humanitarian crisis caused by the devastating earthquake of February 6, 2023 in 11 provinces of the country.
