On May 9 Dr. Miguel Villarroel made a visit to the National Society of the Guatemalan Red Cross, where he held an Institutional meeting with the President, Mrs. Annabella Folgar Bonilla, also visited the Medical Center, the Institute of Integral Training (IFI) and to all the staff of the Headquarters of that National Society.

On May 8, the World Red Cross Day, Dr. Miguel Villarroel visited Guatemala City, where he attended to the Efrain Recinos National Theater, to pay a well-deserved tribute to Mrs. Annabella Folgar Bonilla, (President of the Guatemalan Red Cross), for her tireless work to alleviate human suffering.

On March 2, 2018, Dr. Miguel Villarroel (Vice President of the IFRC), held an informative meeting with the Head of the European Federation Region Mr. Simon Missiri and his team, among which were Messrs.
