53rd Governing Board of the International Federation | Geneva, Switzerland

From October 7-10, 2025, I had the honor of participating as Vice President at the Governing Board of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Geneva.

In this strategic meeting with leaders from all 191 National Societies, we addressed key decisions to strengthen our global humanitarian work:

Statutory reform to adapt governance to contemporary challenges

Improved coordination and humanitarian response

Strengthened collaboration among National Societies

The final approval of these reforms will take place at the General Assembly on December 2, 2025, marking a decisive step toward a more efficient and transparent future in our humanitarian mission.
