Virtual Meeting of the President and Vice Presidents of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
On August 28, 2025, a virtual working meeting was held between the President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Ms. Katherine Forbes, and the Vice Presidents: Dr. Miguel Villarroel (Americas), Natia Loladze (Europe), Elder Bolaji Akpan Anami (Africa), Maha Barges Al-Barges (Asia), and Manuel Bessler (Switzerland) (ex-officio).
Importance of the Meeting
During this session, various topics of global interest to the organization were reviewed and analyzed, with the aim of strengthening coordination and follow-up of IFRC’s strategic actions.
