On August 24, 2022, a preparatory virtual meeting was held for the Inter-American Conference to be held in the city of Nassau, Bahamas.
The meeting was attended by the members of the Governing Board of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent,

as well as the President of the Bahamas Red Cross Terez Curri (Event Venue), the President of the Argentine Red Cross, Dr. Diego Tipping and members of the Secretaria General of the American continent.
